Day on the Farm

Our wonderful friends, Alex and Hannes Keil, let us come over for a special day at their house.  It was great to get the kids out of the chaos of the house and move for a day.  They had a wonderful house that they custom built themselves. 

Hyrum loved the bird.  The girls were so excited that it sat on their fingers.

They had a huge back yard for bbqs and there was a swing set and animals.

No, Hyrum isn't wearing a pink shirt. The camera was doing funny things.

Alex laid out mattresses for all of us to relax on. Such a good idea.

Hyrum had a fever, so he was miserable much of the day.  He and I napped on the couch while everyone else was outside.

The kids got the ride the horses. Of course, Katie had no fear.  She just can't get enough of animals.

That evening we had a bbq and it was delicious. It was hard to say good-bye to so many good friends.
