Dinner Time

She fell asleep tonight between bites. She makes that look comfortable.

Fun, Fun, Fun

We rotated and changed our tires the other day and the girls had so much fun helping.

We also spent our FHE trying to fly a kite. We were about as successful as the last time we tried. But maybe next time. We had a great time as a family anyway.

Mother's Day

Our Mother's Day turned into a Mother's Weekend. Both Jared and Ray made it so nice. They came home with these for Beate and I. I say it again...Jared is excited for the World Cup. And it is comfortable, which is the most important thing to me.

That night, we made these flowers for Beate. We gave them to her the next morning, Sunday. The girls loved picking out the colors for each flower. Jared and Ray were so cute to help too. It was great to see them working on the flowers.

Ray, Jared and great-grandma Dautel all worked to get me an audio version of my aunt and uncle's book. I can't wait to listen to it all. You all should check it out too.
It was a great Mother's Day. Ray made a fabulous breakfast of bacon and eggs Sunday morning. I got beautiful gifts at church and a nap that afternoon. I got to talk to my mom and we spent time together as a family. I loved it.

Ahhh...cute!!

Jared came home with these last night. I think he is excited for the World Cup next month.
I love this picture of the girls because it really shows each of theirs personalities.

I thought this was just too cute of Jared painting his daughters' toe nails. Isn't he the cutest daddy? He just loves being a daddy for girls.

C is for Cookie

Jared is home sick right now, so he had some time to spend with his girls and they thought it was great. He told them he would make cookies with them.
He was smart and put all of the ingredients in their own bowl, so it was less messy when the girls helped. I felt like I was on one of those fun cooking shows.

Each girl had her own responsibility with the cookies. We only had a few minor messes.
They even got to put the cookies on the pans themselves...
...and of course, watch them bake.
