Fall Fun

We had a lot of family time this weekend (which is a good things since a lot of this week Jared will be working until around 8pm each night). A lot of the day was spent outside doing yard work, like raking the leaves, and playing basketball (the men).
Anne just loves her Gpa Dautel and always wants to be right there with him, "helping" him with everything he does.
Of course, no day of raking the leaves would be complete without jumping in the them. At first Anne and Alicia didn't understand the concept, but once it was demonstrated and tested, they loved it.
We started getting really creative after that. We tried the human pyramid. Gma had the job to stand behind and make sure the girls didn't fall.
I love Alicia's face in this one. She seems so pleased with herself.
The next activity was to teach the girls how to roll down the small hill in the yard. Anne was so funny; she would end up rolling sideways along and almost turning completely so she would have to roll up hill. Jared and Robby started having races. It is always nice to have a day just with family and fun.
