Shadow Play

I am in the primary presidency of our branch.  At the end of the year we had started planning an activity to introduce and explain the Faith in God program to the parents. Then there were changes in the organization and the mothers of the kids doing the program were put in the presidency. So we tweaked it a bit and invited the rest of the branch.
We did a shadow play of the Parable of the Ten Virgins.  It was so cute and the kids did wonderful.  They also showed and talked about some projects they did about the parable.

I love this picture of these two girls sharing a hymn book.

These two girls are just one day apart.  They are so similar in personality and looks.  I love them both. I would Amelie as my own any day.

Pizza and Dominoes

This past week Jared arranged for me to have a night out with some of my favorite ladies.  We met at a central location...the church.
We ordered us some pizza...modeled by our beautiful Sonja. The hand model is Ramona. The pizza delivery man went to wrong entrance and turned around. We called them and he came back. Never would have thought Ramona was so crazy about her pizza. She was desperate...never mess with a pregnant woman and her pizza.

These ladies are a bunch of fun.  I was holding the camera, hence the reason I look so odd.

We also played a couple rounds of Mexican Train.  And then I needed to go home, so we spent another hour telling stories and laughing sooo hard.  I even told them about Jared and I's wedding party and Jared dragging me across the floor, through frosting as I was diving for the cake.  It is so fun to laugh with other women and tell all our funny stories.  These ladies are the best and they make me smile.

Nursery

I spend most of my Sundays in Nursery with these kids.  I decided I needed to take some pictures.
The kids love standing on chairs and watching the cars drive by. They get so excited each time they see one. Those two cuties on the left are twins.  They are so fun.  In the beginning they had a hard time being left in nursery. They would come to me in the beginning crying. I would ask if they were coming with me and they would sob a "yes", but were resigned to it.  But it didn't take long for them ot calm down. Now we all have so fun together.

Hyrum isn't really old enough for nursery yet, but he comes with me anyway and does so well.

I love the colored pencil marks on his face.

Another Lunch Date

Our good friends, the Baasch Family invited us over for lunch and we all had a great time.

They have a wonderful basement full of fun toys...as you can see.  The kids couldn't get enough of it. I love the parachute, it was my favorite thing in school when I was young.

I loved this picture of Katie and her tea party.  It is amazing to me what can fascinate her for so long.

There was a little mishap in the kitchen. So after lunch the men cleaned it and the rest of the dishes while we ladies played with the kids.

I loved the table setting! No that is not champagne, it is a non-alcoholic grape drink from Switzerland. It was fun to try.

We had a great time and the kids loved it!! We have such wonderful friends.

Fun Times

Jared and I started getting up early and exercizing (is it with a z or s, I can't remember which way) together. We switch off on the bike and the Wii Fit Plus.
After a couple days we noticed the cleverness of the menu. In the center are Jared and I's Miis and there is the rest of the family. Look at us!!! It sure made us laugh.

I hope you all wet you pants laughing at this one. I loved it!!!!!

Robby challenged Beate to another no hands marshmellow eating contest. The girls played too.

The best part was watching Beate giggle so much she couldn't eat anymore.

Fantastic House

We had a lunch date with a member of our branch.  She is a foster parent to two kids.  When I saw the playroom in her house I had to take pictures.

They also had dogs, which of course Katie went wild about.  She has no fear. It was so fun to watch her.  Thanks Cristal for a wonderful afternoon.

Here is More

I finally got some pictures from Jared's phone and I thought there were some that would be nice to share.

Hyrum got another hair cut and he hated it as much as the first time. But it turned out so cute.

Isn't he so cute in his suit?!

These are the truffles that Oli brought me for my birthday. Aren't they beautiful!!!!

 Just a sweet one.

Anne is such a good helper. I am so proud of her.  She was helping with the dishes that night.

Jared made these masks with the girls while I was out one night.
